Scopely seeks a Global Sr. Payroll Specialist to join its Mexico City Hub (hybrid role: 3 days/week in office). Responsibilities include supporting global payrolls (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific), ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and tax reporting, interacting with third-party payroll partners, reviewing payroll reports and employee benefit elections, processing payroll tax-related transactions, reviewing data entry, supporting employee inquiries, and contributing to payroll projects. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with Workday HCM reporting, and excellent communication skills. Experience with multi-country payroll administration in a large private company is essential.

Scopely is looking for a Global Payroll Senior Specialist to join our  Scopely’s Payroll Team in the Mexico City Hub on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

Show us the money! As the Finance team, we’re number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills. As a shared service, we get to work with all of Scopely's talented studios.
The ideal candidate exhibits patience, teamwork, motivation, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and an upbeat attitude. This role will primarily support international pay processing, coordinate efforts within the Payroll Team, and partner with Human Resources and Accounting.
 
What You Will Do:  
  • Support global payrolls Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
  • Support accurate and timely submission for payroll processing and tax reporting.
  • Interact with third-party payroll partners as required.
  • Assist with the review of payroll reports that include savings deductions, exemptions and insurance coverage.
  • Support the review of employee benefit elections, which are appropriately captured as payroll deductions and in earnings statements.
  • Support the processing of all payroll tax-related transactions, including but not limited to new hires, termination payments, supplemental income taxation, taxable fringe benefits, tax exemptions, equity grants and option exercises.
  • Review data entry which is not limited to new hires, terminations and earnings and deduction changes.
  • Support employee inquiries with a high level of service, and escalating issues as required.
  • Provide support for Payroll projects as needed.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • At least 2 years experience with multi-country payroll administration 
  • Proficiency with Workday HCM reporting is required.
  • Experience with a private company with 500+ employees or larger preferred.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong Worksheet, Google Docs, and Excel skills.
  • Strong English language skills are required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business.
