Databricks is experiencing tremendous growth, and is looking for a Go-to-Market Enablement Manager for the ASEAN+GCR and India region. This role reports to the Director of Learning and Enablement for APJ. The ideal candidate should have expertise in field enablement and adult learning principles, with a passion for Data and AI technologies. The mission of the Enablement team is to empower sales and customer-facing demand generation roles with essential Databricks, sales, business, leadership, and customer engagement skills through exceptional enablement programs throughout their tenure at Databricks. This position will assess and enhance skills to elevate learner effectiveness.
Must have:
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to discover, validate, and prioritize sales and technical enablement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the global enablement strategy through innovative enablement programs, covering design, development, implementation, and reporting oversight.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Operations, and Strategic Programs teams to identify sales skills gaps.
  • Align programs with company strategic priorities and Sales organization OKRs, collaborating with peers globally.
  • Keep up-to-date with the fast-evolving Databricks Platform, product, messaging, capabilities, and new processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate various enablement sessions, workshops, and launches, including scale trainings for customers.
  • Incorporate best practices and industry trends to enhance enablement programs and boost field productivity.
  • Monitor programs for improvement leading to measurable outcomes, evolving enablement and training solutions.
  • Establish effective assessment methods and metrics to gauge program effectiveness and impact.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in enablement, training at a SaaS company.
  • Ability to translate data/insights into strategies and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Solid experience running large-scale enablement programs and rolling them out effectively.
  • Results-driven with strong program management skills and customer focus.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with strong executive presence.
  • Ability to effectively influence and engage a large audience.
Good to have:
  • Proficiency in using Data and AI tools with a deep understanding of Data and AI to link the dots.

Databricks is experiencing tremendous growth, and we are looking for a Go-to-Market Enablement Manager for the ASEAN+GCR and India region to join our Field Enablement Team. This role will report to the Director of Learning and Enablement for APJ.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in field enablement and adult learning principles, coupled with a genuine passion for Data and AI technologies. They must demonstrate accountability, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively lead cross-functional projects while also possessing strong program management skills. They should have the ability to coordinate enablement across field teams, partners, and customers. Furthermore, they should exhibit a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities, ultimately driving performance, productivity, and results through the cultivation of strong relationships. The ideal candidate should be able to facilitate selective sessions. A bonus would be proficiency in using Data and AI tools with a deep understanding of Data and AI in order to link the dots. This is a “role up your sleeves” role with significant APJ, in-country, and global collaboration capabilities.

The mission of the Enablement team is to empower the sales and customer-facing demand generation roles with essential Databricks, sales, business, leadership, and customer engagement skills through exceptional enablement programs throughout their tenure at Databricks. In this position, you will assess and enhance the skills necessary to elevate the overall learner effectiveness in the field.

The impact you will have:

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders in the region to discover, validate, and prioritize innovative sales and technical enablement initiatives
  • Contribute to the global enablement strategy through innovative enablement programs, covering design, development, implementation, and reporting oversight, while also serving as a trusted advisor to the regional stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategy and Operations teams and the Strategic Programs teams to ensure we identify sales skills gaps
  • Contribute to the roadmap by aligning programs with the strategic priorities of the company and OKRs of the Sales organization, while also collaborating closely with peers in Headquarters and other regions to develop unified enablement programs tailored to regional audiences while maintaining global relevance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to keep up-to-date with a fast-evolving Databricks Platform, product, messaging, capabilities, and new processes
  • Coordinate and facilitate various enablement sessions, workshops, and other enablement launches in the region, including scale trainings for customers
  • Incorporate best practices and industry trends to enhance enablement programs, aiming to boost field productivity
  • Monitor programs for improvement that lead to measurable outcomes, always looking to evolve the enablement and training solutions at Databricks
  • Establish effective assessment methods and metrics to gauge the effectiveness and impact of enablement programs

What we look for:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in enablement, training at a SaaS company
  • Can translate data/insights into strategies and provide data-driven solutions
  • Solid experience running large-scale enablement programs, and how to evangelize and roll out the programs effectively across the organization
  • Results-driven with strong program management skills and customer focus
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to manage competing priorities, manage ambiguity, and stay flexible through growth and change.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, coupled with a strong executive presence and the ability to effectively influence and engage a large audience
