Graphic Designer

Please note - this is an in-house role in our Stockholm office. Remote candidates will not be considered. Unfortunately we cannot help with relocation from other countries or VISA applications. You need a Swedish work permit in order to be considered.

Please note - you need a portfolio of relevant art in order to qualify for this role.

Hacksaw Studios is a company that builds online games. Our games can be played both in social gaming and real money modes. We have wide distribution and our games are played by millions of people every month by players all over the world. We have a world-class team of developers, artists and animators who create some of the top performing games in our industry, and we are looking to grow our team with more talented graphic designers who love games as much as we do.

You will be part of our game development team and work in a tight knit team involving both graphic designers, artists, developers and project managers. We offer a nice office in central Stockholm, an opportunity to work with other experienced game designers as well as a co-ownership program for suitable candidates.

The job:

We are looking for a graphic designer who can give a fresh take to our games look and brand identity (instant win games) At Hacksaw Studios you will work closely with other designers and creative people to create modern and stylish new games.

Your tasks will include:

- Create concepts for new games
- Designing assets, logos and brand guidelines to set new standards
- Participate in game progress reviews and give feedback about the implementation process
- Co-operate with colleagues with similar roles, both in-house and with our partners
- Learn about the online gaming industry and stay up to date on current trends and what is popular with players

Required skills and experience:

- A solid graphic design portfolio
- Understanding of colors, typography, shapes, textures, values and UI/UX
- Experience with the Adobe suite
