Job DescriptionTitle: Graphic Designer I
Location: India
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and delivering marketing assets that represent the brand and support marketing initiatives. This role requires expert knowledge of current design software and skill in every step of the design process, from concept sketches to final deliverables. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer will take written or spoken ideas and convert them into compelling visual storytelling. Work encompasses production for digital & print design as well as some HTML coding.
Accountabilities & Essential Functions
- Research products, technologies, audiences, and various topics as needed to effectively create relevant concepts, solutions, and visuals.
- Sketch concepts by designing examples of art layout, size, and style then submitting them for approval.
- Design meaningful and effective visual communications that enhance the brand, captivate customers, and satisfy the stakeholder requirements, including print & digital ads, banners, event materials, graphics, icons, illustrations, infographics, animations, videos, as well as HTML5 ads plus some landing pages & emails.
- Ability to receive constructive criticism positively and revise designs based on feedback.
- Collaborate with various project stakeholders to develop visuals that meet marketing and business goals and relate to the target audience.
- Coordinate artwork approvals across various teams as needed.
- Complete production tasks as needed.
- Prepare and deliver finished art assets by operating necessary equipment and software.
- Produce monthly ads within established templates.
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
- Maintain brand consistency and application of corporate brand style guidelines and templates.
- Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
- Manage multiple projects following precise design specifications and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, positive, and strategic thinker with a strong eye for visual design including layout, color, and typography.
- Experienced and skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud apps: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects.
- Working knowledge of HTML.
- Comprehensive knowledge of print production as well as design principles, techniques and best practices.
- High computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (spreadsheets and formulas), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficiency with MacOS.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to act independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining deadlines and managing multiple projects.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and adaptability to ongoing production or process changes and new projects.
- Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
- Experience with hardware and software issues.
- Associate degree in fine arts, Communication, or related field or approved relevant experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Preferred 1+ years in-house or agency experience. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
- Portfolio that demonstrates design skills.
