Fireworks AI is seeking a strategic, execution-focused manager to lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives, reporting to the CRO. The role involves leading new business acquisition, scaling the sales-led go-to-market strategy, and building a high-performing sales organization. Responsibilities include owning and leading the west coast revenue function, hiring, coaching, and retaining a high-achieving sales team, designing and implementing strategies for enterprise segments, driving new business acquisition, and defining and tracking performance across the sales funnel.
Must have:
  • 3+ years technical sales leadership in a growing organization.
  • 5+ years technical SAAS sales experience.
  • Experience motivating and managing teams for pipeline generation.
  • Success closing complex, multi-million dollar deals.
  • Experience implementing MEDDIC or similar sales methodology.

The Role:

We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused manager to lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives.  Reporting to the CRO, you will be responsible for leading new business acquisition, scaling our sales led go to market strategy, and building/leading a high performing sales organization.  You bring experience from a high-growth environment and possess a strong understanding of modern go to market practices, with a focus on driving efficiency and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the west coast revenue function, including processes, workflows, forecasting, execution, and velocity
  • Hire, coach, and retain a high-achieving team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and results
  • Design and implement strategies for a wide range of enterprise segments across ideal customer profiles
  • Drive new business acquisition and develop and execute market expansion strategies as our product offerings continue to expand and evolve
  • Define and track performance across the funnel, ensuring accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in technical sales leadership within a rapidly growing organization, managing high performing teams with measurable success in driving pipeline and revenue
  • 5+ years experience in technical SAAS sales with a proven track record of success
  • Extensive experience motivating and managing team to proactively and successfully drive pipeline generation
  • Demonstrable success in closing complex, multi-million dollar deals and driving revenue growth across a variety of different verticals
  • Experience implementing MEDDIC or similar sales methodology
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to team performance and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High bias for action with a track record of executing quickly and effectively

Fireworks AI's goal is to provide competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area for this role is $400,000 - $450,000 per year.
