Job Summary
As the head of the PC business unit, the candidate will lead a cross-functional product and customer-oriented organization to achieve revenue and profitability goals in the PC market. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and transforming organizations, constructing a leadership team capable of delivering world-class product solutions that grow revenue and market share. This role requires strong technical knowledge of PC systems to drive the future strategy and direction for product lines servicing laptop, desktop, and emerging computer applications. The candidate should possess a track record of building new product lines with sound financial judgment and operational discipline acquired through education, training, and experience.
Must Have
- Experience in building and managing all aspects of a business.
- Experience leading product/system definition, development, and marketing of semiconductors.
- Strong commercial acumen to develop executive relationships internally and externally.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- MSEE or MBA and 15+ years of technical experience supporting PC related systems.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead all product line business planning activity, including market analysis, market and product requirements, competitive analysis, product positioning and go to market strategies.
- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans and deliver business results, growing revenue and market share.
- Generate and maintain business plans, including investment planning, revenue, gross and contribution margin forecasting for new and proposed products.
- Develop product solutions and system product roadmaps, including software and hardware, and drive new technology initiatives to support future growth.
- Deliver world-class products and solutions that lead the industry.
- Develop and lead teams of product managers, product marketing, applications, and systems engineers.
- Partner with external customers and partners, internal sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and finance teams throughout the company.
- Develop executive level relationships with customers.

- Successful track record of building, growing and managing all aspects of a business.
- Experience leading product/system definition, development, and marketing of semiconductors with accountability for revenue and profitability
- Strong commercial acumen capable of developing executive relationships internally and externally with partners, customers, investors and analysts.
- Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills
- MSEE or MBA and 15+ years of technical marketing, IC design, software development, applications or system engineering supporting PC related systems.
