Job Description

As a Health & Safety Enablement Manager, you play a critical role in establishing and managing processes that provide analysis, forecasting, reporting and/or monitoring of business and commercial information. You will bring your deep expertise and breadth of experience to manage high-level analysis and programs of work to ensure the business is able to meet their strategic business performance objectives. The role focuses on embedding and operationalising Health & Safety practices across Field Services by integrating them into existing workflows and systems, particularly the Field Management System, using Agile ways of working.
Must have:
  • Significantly contribute to strategic initiatives that align attitudes and behaviours of employees with health and safety imperatives.
  • Develop and apply enablement principles to embed safety practices into the way work is done in Field Services.
  • Consolidate and streamline Field Services Safety learning experience through acting as the Field-specific content representative.
  • Conduct / lead effective consultation on Health and Safety improvement initiatives.
  • Co-lead field trials / pilot programs for Field Services workforce, in partnership with the HSEW team.
  • Cert IV, Diploma or similar tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Human Resources, Customer or Employee Experience, Program Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience developing, leading and delivering Health and Safety projects or programs to a field / operational workforce (more than 1000).
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and presenting complex information clearly to leadership and frontline teams.
  • Ability to identify trends through safety data analysis, streamline processes, and promote a learning culture across teams.
  • Experience uplifting capability through coaching and structured training.
  • Experience in applying human-centered design principles through strong analytical skills and translating complex problems into simple, user-friendly solutions.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions through iterative development and collaborative teamwork.

About the Role

This role is focused on leading the delivery of Health and Safety risk controls into existing Field Services workflows. The Health & Safety Enablement Manager will do this through applying a human centred approach to all design outcomes and will act as the lead on specific programs being delivered by Field Services, as well as being the Field Services conduit for the delivery of programs being led from other business streams. For example, the central Health, Safety, Environment & Wellbeing HSEW team. In addition to delivering specific Health & Safety programs, the role will support continuous improvement of Health and Safety practices in Field Services. The focus for the role is to lead Agile ways of working to bring the right expertise to the table, and to apply subject matter expertise to deliver implementation outputs including, but not limited to development of, training content, processes and instructions and effective communication and change.

  • Significantly contribute to strategic initiatives that align attitudes and behaviours of employees with various health and safety imperatives across the business, ensuring consistent application of operating systems, policies and procedures for Health and Safety
  • Develop and apply enablement principles to embed safety practices into the way work is done in Field Services.
  • Consolidate and streamline Field Services Safety learning experience through acting as the Field-specific content representative for training / capability programs.
  • Conduct / lead effective consultation on Health and Safety improvement initiatives.
  • Co-lead field trials / pilot programs for Field Services workforce, in partnership with the Health, Safety, Environment & Wellbeing HSEW team.

About You

Qualifications / Experience

  • Education

Cert IV, Diploma or similar tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Human Resources, Customer or Employee Experience, Program Management, or related discipline

  • Health & Safety Project or Program Management

Experience developing, leading and delivering Health and Safety projects or programs to a field / operational workforce (more than 1000)

  • Communication & Facilitation

Skilled in stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and presenting complex information clearly to leadership and frontline teams.

  • Continuous Improvement

Ability to identify trends through safety data analysis, streamline processes, and promote a learning culture across teams.

  • Training & Coaching

Experience uplifting capability through coaching and structured training.

  • Human Centred Solution Design

Experience in applying human-centered design principles through application of strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex problems into simple, user-friendly solutions.

  • Leading Agile

Experienced in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions through iterative development and collaborative teamwork
