Job Description

As an HR Business Partner Director, you will guide leaders and employees on company policies, values, and HR programs. You will develop programs to enhance the employee experience, coach managers, devise strategies for a positive work environment, and oversee the employee handbook. You will also help with performance management and partner with teams to build company awareness. The role requires someone with experience in employment law, compensation, recruitment, and employee relations. You will ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and promptly. This role involves communication, and engagement responsibilities. You will also measure EES and hands on related program landing.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of HRBP experience, ideally in product and engineering
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Knowledge of employment law, compensation, and recruitment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team spirit and comfort working across different cultures
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and coach people
Good to have:
  • Experience in a global high-tech company
  • Strong passion for crypto/Block Chain
  • Global exposure and a cross-cultural mindset
  • Certain Mandarin understanding level

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Guide leaders and employees regarding company policies, values, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration, and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and promptly.
  • Develop programs to enhance the employee experience, such as employee development, talent growth;
  • Coach and train managers in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who report to them. Ensure that the managers know how to successfully, ethically, honestly, and legally communicate with employees.
  • Devise strategies and plans to ensure a positive working environment.
  • Oversee the employee handbook and culture playbook.
  • Help administer the performance management process.
  • Partner with the Recruiting and Marketing teams to showcase the company's unique culture and build awareness of the company as a great place to work.
  • Well know how to measure the EES and hands on related program landing.
 
What We Look For In You:
  • Bachelor's degree and above.
  • 10+ years of experience working as an HRBP, ideally in product and engineering, in the internet/hi-tech/financial services industry.
  • Varied HR experience, including knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a big heart.
  • Good team spirit and comfort working across different time zones and cultures.
  • Growth mindset, flexibility, objectivity, and integrity.
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and coach people at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
