What we’re looking for

We're seeking an Information Systems Engineer III to join our Automation team which is dedicated to driving enterprise-wide automation solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and scale business operations.

As a key member of our Scrum team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives. This includes process discovery, solution design, development, deployment, and robust production support for our UiPath Robotic Process Automations (RPA) and cloud-native data pipelines. While your primary focus will be supporting our UiPath production environment, you'll also have significant engagement with AWS services.

This isn't just a development role; you'll partner closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into impactful, measurable automation solutions. You'll play a crucial role helping the team identify business benefits and help drive operational improvements.

  • Within 30 Days: You'll quickly immerse yourself in our UiPath production environment, actively contributing to immediate support needs.
  • Within 60 Days: You'll independently troubleshoot and resolve production issues, while also actively participating in new workflow development.
  • Within 90 Days: You'll provide comprehensive root cause analysis for production incidents, proposing actionable enhancements to minimize future disruption. You'll also begin leading stakeholder discovery for new work items, defining key business impact metrics, and championing optimal solutions within the team.

What you’ll be working on

  • Understand and translate business needs into scalable, quality automation solutions that drive business outcomes and support the team’s delivery roadmap
  • Participate in all stages of solutioning - from discovery (qualifying and quantifying opportunities) and build, to delivery and sustainment, with guidance from senior engineers and managers
  • Provide production support for existing and future UiPath (RPA) and Lambda workflows, including monitoring, issue resolution, queue oversight, and user interactions
  • Write and maintain Python-based scripts to support automation, integration, and data transformation tasks
  • Engage with event-driven serverless compute solutions (AWS Lambda), with cloud storage (S3), to automate workflows
  • Collaborate closely with peers to maintain documentation, code hygiene, and continuous improvement cycles
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of operational business units and supporting technology infrastructure
  • Contribute to measurable productivity savings, write clear business use-cases, define business impact metrics, support and design solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data reliability, reduce costs, and scale business operations.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, information systems, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with UiPath robotic process automation, including Orchestrator, Robot types, queue management, and exception handling
  • UiPath Automation Developer Professional certification a plus, Automation Solution Architect Professional preferred
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and API integrations
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Ability to work effectively within an agile team environment and demonstrate strong ownership of assigned responsibilities and goals
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows and basic integration patterns (e.g., APIs, prompt engineering, language models) preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud-native automation tooling (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, event triggers) preferred
  • Experience working in or adjacent to fintech, SaaS, or regulated enterprise environments preferred
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile delivery practices (Jira, Confluence) preferred
