Job Description

The Installer is responsible for installing shocks on Fox products and may also repair them. The role involves assessing installation orders, gathering necessary equipment, tools, and supplies, and adhering to codes, regulations, and standards. They must test and calibrate equipment, resolve customer concerns, and maintain accurate work records. Maintaining parts inventory and placing orders is also part of the job. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and possess strong analytical skills. This role is within a manufacturing environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Must have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

FOX Factory designs, engineers, manufactures and markets performance-defining products and systems for customers worldwide. Position Summary:
Installs shocks on Fox products.  May also repair shocks.  Maintains all equipment related to installation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assesses installation orders and gathers needed equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Plans seal installation by evaluating locations, access, and equipment layout.
  • Adheres to codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Tests and calibrates equipment before use.
  • Resolves customer concerns and questions.
  • Maintains all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitors parts inventory for service vehicle.

Keeps inventory log, places inventory orders, and confirms receipt.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
•      Meticulous attention to detail
•      Ability to meet and establish deadlines.
•      Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
•      Strong analytical skills

Position Qualifications:
Education:
HS diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
1+ years of mechanical or related experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
