Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Technician at Zones LLC, you will ensure adherence to defined standards and practices by following QA processes and procedures. This role requires high detail-oriented validation and inspection, verifying that work is to print and documentation revisions are up to date. You are responsible for ensuring the Integration lab operates with zero errors and reporting any discrepancies to the QA manager. Key tasks include systematically following procedures, verifying QA checklists, fault tracking, and participating in the final checkout process.

Must Have:
  • Follow procedures systematically and understand each process.
  • Verify each step in the QA checklist, ensuring correct annotation.
  • Follow the fault tracking process, recording all failure data.
  • Ensure procedures are present and available for each product.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned applications, functional areas, and projects.
  • Take part as a team in the final checkout process, validating all accessories.
  • Inspect all completed QA checklists for completeness and accuracy.
  • Follow policies set by the QA manager and provide valid feedback.
  • Be prepared to assist with tech work if QA tech work is not available.
  • Possess skills in Process flow, Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Verbal Communication, Informing Others, Emphasizing Excellence, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, and Dealing with Complexity.

Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for adhering to defined standards and practices, and following the Quality Assurance processes and procedures.  A primary key to this role is high detail orientated validation and inspection.  You are expected to follow the procedures, processes and validate that the work done is to print.  You are required to verify that documentation being used has up to date revisions and report any updates that must occur.  Ensuring the Integration lab runs on zero error and informing the QA manager of any discrepancies is a must.

What you’ll do as the Quality Assurance Technician:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Follow the procedures systematically and understand each process.
  • Verify each step in the QA checklist ensuring the tech doing the work is annotating correctly and the auto-filled areas are the only fields filled.
  • Following the fault tracking process to high detail recording all failure data no matter how small
  • Ensuring procedures are present and available for each product
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas, and projects.
  • Taking part as a team in the final checkout process.  Validating all accessories for each order are present and correct to the documentation.  Working as a team on each shift sharing the responsibilities of either working together or rotating between the shift.  All completed QA checklists are required to be inspected for completeness and accuracy
  • Following policies set in place by the QA manager but also giving valid feedback where necessary.
  • If QA tech work is not available at certain times during your shift, you are expected to fall back on tech work assistance, only until QA tech work once again resumes.

Qualified candidates can expect a hourly pay range $21.00 – $25.00.
