Job Description

Autodesk is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join their team, focused on building robust data platform products. The intern will design and develop software solutions for data collection, processing, transformation, and reporting. Responsibilities include deploying scalable solutions via CI/CD, translating business needs to technical requirements, troubleshooting code, designing data quality solutions, and exploring AI/LLM techniques for automation.
Must Have:
  • Design and develop software solutions for data collection, processing, transformation, and reporting.
  • Deploy secure, scalable, durable solutions via automated CI/CD processes.
  • Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Design solutions to measure data quality and detect data issues.
  • Develop data models, APIs, or other architectural elements.
  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs in Python.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with big data environments: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Presto.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using SQL.
  • Understanding of data structures, large data sets, event streams, distributed computing.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum Teams.

We are looking for a a Software Developer Intern with an interest in building and designing new capabilities for the Autodesk data platform to join our team. We are team chartered with building robust and resilient data platform products and solutions that enable users to leverage data as an integral part of decision making at Autodesk. Responsibilities * Design and develop software solutions that simplify complex data collection, processing, transformation, and reporting * Deploy secure, scalable and durable solutions via automated CI/CD processes * Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements * Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently * Design solutions to measure data quality and detect data issues and anomalies * Develop data models, APIs or other architectural elements * Explore the use of AI and LLM-driven techniques to enhance automation in data enrichment, validation, and summarization Minimum Qualifications * Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study * Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs in Python * Experience deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS * Experience working with a big data environment including Hadoop, Hive, Spark and Presto * Proficiency executing data analysis using SQL * Understanding of basic and complex data structures and knowledge of handling large data sets, event streams, and distributed computing * Effective communication skills and ability to explain complex topics to a non-technical audience * Familiarity working with Agile Scrum Teams About the Canada Intern Program The 2026 Canada Internship program runs for 16 weeks (May 4th – August 21st, 2026). All internships are paid.
