Job Description

As an intern Client Analyst, you will support experienced Analytical Consultants and collaborate with our clients in the FMCG industry. You will assist in preparing analyses and presentations for well-known brands in supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, and liquor stores. Examples of analyses include category and brand studies on the performance of brands or retailers in terms of sales and market share. You will also explain the "why" question: do sales increase or decrease due to the product range, price, or promotion strategy of a company? You will support our Client Service Online team in setting up and maintaining client reports where we track the performance of our clients (e.g., sales, market share, promotion pressure, price level, etc.). You will be part of specific analytical team projects.

Must have:

Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
Relevant education at the bachelor level.
Strong analytical skills.
Genuine interest in FMCG marketing.
Good Microsoft Office skills.
Eye for detail and accuracy.
Full-time availability for 6 months.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Als stagiair Client Analyst ondersteun je ervaren Analytische Consultants en werk je samen met onze klanten in de FMCG-branche. Je gaat ook:

assisteren bij het voorbereiden van analyses en presentaties voor bekende merken in supermarkten, drogisterijen, benzinestations en slijterijen. Voorbeelden van analyses zijn categorie- en merkonderzoeken over de prestatie van merken of retailers op het gebied van verkopen en marktaandeel. Daarnaast leggen we ook de "waarom"-vraag uit: stijgen of dalen de verkopen door het assortiment, de prijs of de promotiestrategie van een bedrijf?;
ons Client Service Online-team ondersteunen bij het opzetten en onderhouden van klantenrapportages waarin we de prestaties van onze klanten bijhouden (bijv. verkopen, marktaandeel, promotiedruk, prijsniveau, etc.);
deel uitmaken van specifieke analytische teamprojecten.

Functie-eisen

Uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
Een relevante opleiding op bachelorniveau, zoals Bedrijfseconomie/-kunde, Marketing Management/Analytics/Intelligence of iets soortgelijks. Je moet een geldige studentenstatus hebben ingeschreven bij een Nederlandse onderwijsinstelling.
Sterke analytische vaardigheden.
Oprechte belangstelling voor de marketing van voedsel-, huishoudelijke en persoonlijke verzorgingsproducten (FMCG-industrie).
Goede vaardigheden in Microsoft Office-tools, vooral Excel en PowerPoint.
Oog voor detail en nauwkeurigheid.
Fulltime beschikbaarheid voor een periode van 6 maanden.
