Job Summary

Job Description

This internship offers the opportunity to design, implement, test, and debug game code using C++ and Unreal Engine 4 or 5. Responsibilities include writing technical documentation, profiling code for optimization, researching algorithms and techniques, creating tools and engine components, and adhering to coding standards. Interns will work with a mentor and line producer, following Agile/SCRUM processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about games, possesses good problem-solving skills, and communicates effectively in English. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and requires basic C++ knowledge and Unreal Engine experience.

Unreal Engine 4/5 experience

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code, write technical documentation.
Research, analyse and report risks/problems/solution required by projects and future developments.
Profiling code to optimize software components of a game.
Research cutting-edge algorithms and techniques.
Create tools, features and engine components up to required coding standards.
Create leading edge reusable technologies, both systems and engines if required.
Work with a mentor engineer and a line producer and report to them
Follow Agile/SCRUM processes.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge in C + + language.
Any experience in Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5.
Good communication skills in English and able to work in English-speaking working environment.
Good problem-solving resilience.
An innovative force in the profession.
Passionate about games, and game development.
This position is open to Malaysians only.
