Job Summary
As an ISP/Display Firmware Prototype Engineer at Pico (a ByteDance company), you will architect and implement real-time control firmware/software for the ISP/DPU pipeline. Responsibilities include integrating firmware into SOC/FPGA prototype systems, optimizing image processing algorithms, developing device drivers (image sensors, I2C, SPI, MIPI, DMA controllers), and collaborating with FPGA hardware and RTL engineers. The role requires proficiency in C/C++, familiarity with ARM microarchitecture, Linux and RTOS, and experience with algorithm optimization using Neon or DSP. Experience with image sensors, imaging/display pipelines, AE/AWB/AF, image stabilization, and FPGA prototype systems is preferred.

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $410000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
