Job Description
Cyanide is seeking an IT Manager to oversee its IT infrastructure and equipment. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining servers and network equipment, monitoring infrastructure, applying security updates, and ensuring network functionality. The role also involves managing security policies, data backup, hardware/software procurement, and providing technical support. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, strong networking skills, and proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems, as well as database, web, and mail server management, and virtualization knowledge.
Must have:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and network equipment.
- Monitor and supervise IT infrastructure.
- Apply security updates and patches.
- Ensure proper network functioning (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, VLAN).
- Implement and manage security policies (firewall, access control).
- Ensure data backup and restoration.
- Manage hardware and software purchases and vendor relations.
- Diagnose and resolve system and network incidents.
- Provide effective technical support to users.
- Write technical procedures and documentation.
- Educate users on IT best practices.
- Contribute to infrastructure evolution and improvement.

Job Details
The position
Cyanide is looking for an IT Manager to manage its infrastructure and IT equipment. Under the responsibility of the Director, and in close collaboration with the Production Director, you will be responsible for the following missions:
- Install, configure and maintain servers and network equipment
- Ensure monitoring and supervision of infrastructures
- Apply security updates and patches
- Ensure the proper functioning of the network (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, VLAN)
- Implement and manage security policies (firewall, access control, etc.)
- Ensure data backup and restoration
- Manage hardware and software purchases as well as relations with service providers
- Diagnose and resolve incidents related to systems and the network
- Collaborate with users to provide effective technical support
- Write technical procedures and documentation
- Raise user awareness of good IT practices
- Contribute to the evolution and improvement of infrastructures
Profile sought
- Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, routing, firewall, VPN, etc.)
- Proficiency in Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems
- Ability to manage databases, web servers, mail servers
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware ESXi, Proxmox)
- You are rigorous, autonomous and proactive
- You have good written and oral communication
Would be a plus
- Notions in cybersecurity
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, bash, etc.)
