Job Description

Ramp is seeking an IT Site Lead to manage IT operations in their San Francisco office. This role involves providing in-person support, troubleshooting technical issues across various devices and platforms, and managing local infrastructure. The lead will also handle new hire onboarding, automate workflows, maintain documentation, and collaborate with other teams to enhance the employee experience. This hands-on role requires a resourceful and self-directed individual excited to tackle problems.
Must have:
  • Serve as primary IT contact for San Francisco office, providing in-person support
  • Contribute to company-wide support through centralized IT help channel
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across macOS, Windows, SaaS platforms, networking, and AV systems
  • Manage and improve local infrastructure, including WiFi, printers, conferencing gear
  • Lead onsite IT onboarding for new hires
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive workflows
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for internal IT systems and employee-facing resources
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Security, People, and Workplace teams
  • Own local hardware inventory, office setups, and device lifecycle management
  • Support Facilities-related tasks on an as-needed basis
  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support or IT operations experience
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Notion, and MDM solutions (especially Jamf)
  • Solid understanding of identity and access management concepts, including SSO and SAML
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS and Windows environments
Good to have:
  • Experience in a high-growth or distributed startup environment
  • Familiarity with basic scripting or automation tooling
  • Okta Certified Professional or other relevant certifications
