Job Summary
Job Description
As a Java Lead/Developer at Head Digital Works, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying high-performance code for their online gaming platforms. This includes working on backend and full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Spring Security. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, debug and enhance existing systems, deploy code to production, and solve business challenges with innovative tech solutions. Experience with RabbitMQ, WebSockets, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and caching systems is crucial. A strong understanding of secure coding practices is also required.
Must have:
- Proficient in Java (3-6 years exp)
- Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Security expertise
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- CI/CD pipeline and Git knowledge
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance code
Good to have:
- Rabbit MQ, WebSockets experience
- AWS (S3, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, WAF)
- Knowledge of Sentry and OWASP
- Unit testing frameworks (JUnit)

Education & Fundamentals:Strong computer science principles.Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Applications.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Java (3-6 years of experience), including collections and multithreading.
Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Spring Security.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.Experience with Rabbit MQ queues and WebSockets is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.Containerization tools (e.g., Docker,Kubernetes).
Proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching systems.
Familiarity with tools like Sentry and platforms for code quality, secure coding, and OWASP.
Additional Skills:
Working experience in AWS (big plus) - S3, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, WAF etc ..
