Job Description

The Knowledge Leader is a strategic role at SimCorp, responsible for curating and maintaining the firm’s operational knowledge base within the Investment Operations function. This role enhances process transparency, improves training and onboarding, and embeds best practices. You will develop and maintain a centralized knowledge management framework, own process documentation, lead training programs, and support operational readiness for new products and regulatory changes. The position requires collaboration with SMEs and change teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and control across all investment operations processes.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain a centralized knowledge management framework for Investment Operations.
  • Own and continuously update process documentation, SOPs, workflows, and operational policies.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to ensure operational knowledge is accurately captured and disseminated.
  • Lead and plan training programs for the Operations teams.
  • Support operational readiness for new products, systems, and regulatory changes.
  • Drive documentation for business continuity, operational resilience, and audit preparedness.
  • Partner with change and transformation teams to ensure smooth transition and knowledge transfer during projects.
  • Ensure all knowledge assets are version-controlled, well-organized, and easily accessible.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and adoption of knowledge assets and training materials.
  • 10+ years of experience in Investment Operations within asset management or financial services.
  • More than 5 years of experience working with Simcorp Dimension.
  • Deep understanding of operational processes across the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience creating or managing documentation, SOPs, and operational process maps.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with a significant focus on detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate across business functions and seniority levels.
  • Experience in training design and delivery.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The Knowledge Leader is a strategic role responsible for curating and maintaining the firm’s operational knowledge base, enhancing process transparency, and improving training and onboarding within the Investment Operations function.   • 10+ years of experience in Investment Operations within asset management or financial services.
  • More than 5 years of experience working with Simcorp Dimension
  • Deep understanding of operational processes across the trade lifecycle (trade capture, settlement, cash & position reconciliation, corporate actions).
  • Experience creating or managing documentation, SOPs, and operational process maps.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with a significant focus on detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate across business functions and seniority levels.
  • Experience in training design and delivery.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
