Scopely is looking for a Lead Marketing Artist to join our Marketing team Flamed in Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis.

We are the in-house creative agency Flamed, an International multidisciplinary team. We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games' marketing needs worldwide.
What You Will Do
This position entails a mix of management and execution of tasks, reporting directly to the studio Art Director and working closely with the creative team, Brand Manager, SM, ASO and UA team.
As a Lead Marketing Artist, you will manage a design team. Your leadership skills and experience in the field will be essential for inspiring, coaching, and collaborating with cross-disciplined groups while maintaining a positive team environment. You must be able to see the bigger picture and utilize your team’s skill sets to bring an idea to life, creating Marketing static assets backed up by your strong marketing instincts & careful analysis of metrics.
With the support of the Art Director and Creative Game Lead, you will help build impactful brand identities for our midcore games and protect them.
Mentor, direct, and supervise a dedicated team in creating stunning advertising statics for UA, ASO, SM and branding purposes.
Work in collaboration with the creative team, Mkt Art Director, Creative Services Project Managers, and Brand Managers to build impactful marketing assets.
Participate in brainstorms, elaborate appropriate briefs, and ideate and sketch ideas before production.
Execute with deep attention to detail all static assets required for Marketing.
Create statics ads, featuring assets and strong key arts to represent our games most effectively.
Use Digital Performance Marketing insights and team benchmarks to iterate on existing ads and continuously improve their quality and results.
Act as a gatekeeper and protector of our visual branding and develop visual branding guidelines for Scopely that we can share with vendors, partners, and our PR agencies
As needed, manage and provide feedback to any freelancers or contract artists that we bring on to support the team during busy times of the year
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Design industry, preferably in gaming or entertainment
Knowledge in 3D production (especially Maya and Unreal)
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Arts
Drawing skills and the ability to drive an idea from conception to completion
Excellent communication skills in English
A great eye for color and composition
Knowledge in both online and offline design and production
Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
A team player mindset. Our marketing department intersects with almost every other department in our company, and you will need to be able to work effectively both on your own and as part of a larger group
