NiCE is seeking a skilled QA Architect to lead quality and automation efforts within the organization. The role involves serving as the quality leader for a domain, being accountable for product quality, and defining QA activities and ownership. Responsibilities include analyzing testing needs, challenging existing test coverage, planning and executing test strategies for the Cloud Analytics platform, and leading QA efforts to ensure rapid and confident product shipping. The architect will implement and evolve QA processes, partner with engineering and DevOps teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions, prevent regressions, ensure reliability, and lead NFR testing. Additionally, they will define guidelines and best practices for automation and manual testing, and coordinate cross-organization testing activities.
Must have:
  • 3 years QA leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years QA engineer experience
  • At least 4 years automation experience
  • Experience designing tests for enterprise SW
  • Ability to define QA processes
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD
  • Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Strong analytical abilities

So, what’s the role all about?

We are looking for a strong QA Architect with high technical skills to build methodology, provide vision and direction, and lead quality & automation throughout the organization

How will you make an impact?  

  • Serve as the quality leader for an entire domain and be accountable for the product quality
  • Actively track the domain’s quality tasks, analyze the testing needs, and define QA activities and ownership
  • Continuously  analyze and challenge existing testing coverage
  • Plan, develop, and execute test strategy across our Cloud Analytics platform 
  • Lead Quality assurance efforts that align with product objectives to ship products rapidly and with confidence
  • Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signals and scale testing efforts across our services
  • Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of product
  • Plan and lead NFR testing
  • Define guidelines and best practices for our automation and manual testing procedures
  • Coordinate cross-organization/cross-region testing activities

Have you got what it takes?

Education:

  • BSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent

Requirements

  • 3 years QA leadership experience: Team leader/Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of Experience as a QA engineer with at least 4 years of automation experience
  • Extensive experience designing tests for an enterprise SW solution
  • Leadership, coordination abilities and ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to define QA processes across development groups
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD and Test-Driven Development
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle using Agile Development processes
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong self-motivation; Excellent work ethic, dependable and responsible
