Job Description

Abridge is seeking a proactive and highly organized Legal Operations Administrator to provide comprehensive executive administrative support to their in-house legal team. The role involves managing calendars, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and supporting general administrative needs. Responsibilities include managing legal team members' calendars, scheduling, and travel arrangements; coordinating internal and external meetings with agendas and materials; screening and prioritizing emails; assisting with drafting communications and reports; and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. The administrator will also organize legal department files, track deadlines, process invoices, manage expense reports, prepare meeting notes, and support new team member onboarding. Additionally, the role requires serving as a point of contact for administrative requests within the legal department and collaborating with other administrative professionals across departments for project and event coordination. The company uses a tiered compensation structure based on geographic location, with ranges from $115,000 to $145,000 annually.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Legal Assistant, or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

The Role

Join Abridge as a proactive and highly organized Legal Operations Administrator to provide comprehensive executive administrative support to our in-house legal team. This role will focus on managing calendars, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and supporting general administrative needs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, discreet, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Executive Administrative Support:

  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and travel arrangements for legal team members.

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and follow-ups.

  • Screen and prioritize emails and correspondence on behalf of legal leadership.

  • Assist in drafting and proofreading executive communications, presentations, and reports.

  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive legal and business information.

General Administrative Duties:

  • Organize and maintain legal department files and documentation.

  • Track and coordinate deadlines, reminders, and key department initiatives.

  • Assist with processing invoices, managing expense reports, and liaising with Finance as needed.

  • Prepare and distribute meeting notes, action items, and project updates on behalf of Legal Operations.

  • Support onboarding for new legal team members by coordinating access, tools, and documentation.

  • Order office supplies and handle other general administrative tasks as needed.

Team Coordination & Support:

  • Serve as the point of contact for scheduling and administrative requests within the legal department.

  • Work cross-functionally with other administrative professionals across departments to coordinate projects and events.

  • Assist in organizing team offsites, training sessions, and other departmental activities.

Who You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Legal Assistant, or similar role (supporting senior leadership preferred).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools.

  • Experience with expense management systems and travel booking preferred.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Bonus Points If… (Optional)

  • Familiarity with legal department operations or corporate environments.

We use a tiered compensation structure based on geographic location. The annual salary range for this role is:

Geo 1: $135,000-$145,000
Geo 2: $120,000-$130,000
Geo 3: $115,000-$125,000
