Position Overview
Sports Interactive are looking for a C# .NET Full Stack engineer with experience developing highly available backend services and applications on Microsoft Azure. You will be joining the newly formed LiveOps team responsible for supporting our future titles with Live features. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
Work with multi disciplined stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
Use your knowledge of cloud infrastructure, API design and frontend technologies to design and implement LiveOps solutions.
Utilise automated and manual testing resources to increase confidence in your solution.
Work with DevOps to secure and deploy your solution robustly.
Write clear technical and nontechnical documentation.
Support, troubleshoot and maintain LiveOps solutions.
Requirements and skills:
Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role.
Proven experience architecting solutions in Azure.
Fluent in backend languages and frameworks including C# .Net Core.
Experienced in frontend languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS.
Experience in API design & development (ASP.NET Web API).
Experienced with Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies and products, such as:
Azure Container Apps, App Services, Function Apps, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Blob Storage, Message Queues etc.
Experienced with Docker and containerised applications.
Experienced writing automated tests (unit / subcutaneous & load testing)
Experienced working with source control solutions including Git.
Demonstratable understanding of security concerns developing cloud solutions.
Familiar with data technologies such as SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
Familiar with Cloud monitoring solutions such as Application Insights.
Familiar with DevOps tools and technologies such as:
Azure DevOps (Pipelines) / GitHub Actions.
Infrastructure as code tools such as ARM, Bicep or Terraform
PowerShell and the Azure CLI.
Organised and a clear communicator.
