The Role:
Transcreation (localization) Senior Project Manager is responsible for project managing localization work for the client’s Marketing team. The position works closely with the clients Project Manager and a network of creative talents from various markets.
This position will focus on building strong relationship with the Client Talent Network and briefing new projects accurately. Strong organization and time management skills are required, when managing Clients, together with a focus on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Localization Network Management
- Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, SOW and SLAs of the accounts and ensure specific details are understood by the wider team where relevant
- Manage creative people and ensure they are motivated to perform
- Coordinate weekly status meetings/monthly review sessions
- Organize teamwork, create a balanced work schedule and ensure work is of high standards and delivered on time
- Flag any potential team issues to the line manager and be actively involved in finding a solution
- Review talent performance and drive constant performance improvement by working closely with talent manager and providing regular feedback on all talent
- Highlight and resolve quality control issues with the network
- Ensure that there is a clear division and allocation of workload and briefs among team members and validators
Project Management
- Coordinate and ensure all parties follow the agreed workflows and manage them through the process
- Work alongside and support client’s Project Manager when briefing and tracking projects through to completion
- Lead junior member, to constantly improve their work and motivate them
- Ensure that there is clear division and allocation of workload among team members
- Monitor timelines and manage client expectations
- Monitor budget utilization and flag potential issues
- Advise line manager on resource gaps and flag potential issues
- Ensure account delivers consistently against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs
- Identify bottle necks/pain points for the validation network and suggest resolution
- Identify training requirements for team members to ensure their adherence to processes and workflow
- Plan, prepare and implement the induction of new starters
- Lead overseas projects for up to 3 weeks (2–3 times per year)
Finance Management
- Quarterly planning
- Regular budget spend reports – monitor and analyse progression of spends
- Flag important budget fluctuations, peaks to the Client and line manager and track spend progress
- Ensure full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
Client Management
- Co-ordinate between all relevant parties: Hogarth team, Client and cross-functional teams and Validation network
- Set and manage client expectations for deliverables and timeframes
- Understand and work under the confidentiality policy
- Build strong, trusting relationships with all key client stakeholders
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years Project Management/Traffic background experience preferred in an ad agency or in-house creative department
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience of financial responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience in managing large scale and complex projects
- Experience working on global brands, ideally across all media, including print and digital
- Demonstrable experience managing total creative workflow, i.e. internal briefing, briefing to vendors/studios, managing key milestones / deadlines, presentations / internal approvals, executions, delivery
- Self-driven, organized and have an eye for detail
