Job Description
Enphase Energy, a global leader in solar, battery, and EV charging products, is seeking a Manager Embedded Software to lead the Gateway (eSW) Team. This role involves delivering gateway products for energy systems and fostering team growth, with support from senior team members. The manager will ensure effective communication with Hardware, Manufacturing, Marketing, Program Management, Quality, and Compliance teams. Key responsibilities include meeting quarterly project progress targets, professional development of the team, representing the team in performance reviews, making technical design decisions, and managing relationships with project management, product management, and wider engineering teams.
Must have:
- Lead embedded firmware teams (min 4 people)
- 8+ years in embedded software design & production
- Experience with software development tools
- Ability to deliver projects on schedule
- Allocate tasks and resources
- Provide engineering oversight

About the role
We are seeking a Manager Embedded Software to lead the Gateway (eSW) Team. Reporting to the Director of Systems and Software, Systems Business Unit, you will be responsible for the delivery of gateway products for our energy systems, as well as the growth of your team. You will be supported in technical issues by senior members of your team. Your will ensure the team has good communication with teams from Hardware, Manufacturing, Marketing, Program Management, Quality, and Compliance.
What you will do
- Meeting quarterly project progress targets, with goals that come all the way from the CEO
- Professional development of your team
- Representing your team to the yearly Performance Focal Group and Promotion Review Board
- Technical decisions regarding design
- Managing relationships with project management, product management and the wider engineering teams
Who you are and What you bring
- Experience in leadership of embedded firmware teams of a minimum of 4 people
- 8+ years of related experience in designing and bringing to production embedded software products
- Experience with software development, requirements gathering and testing tools
- The ability to deliver projects on schedule and identify and allocate tasks and resources required
