Job Description

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing the B2B marketing strategy, supporting lead acquisition for sales teams, and managing digital events (webinars). This includes managing the end-to-end webinar delivery, which includes content uploading and assisting with event logistics. Additionally, the role involves supporting marketing campaigns, creating social media posts, updating webpages, building and sending marketing emails, and generating reports. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be deadline-driven. The role requires a quick learner with a digital-first approach, ready to solve problems in a busy global team.
Must have:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a marketing role
  • Experience of delivering webinars or digital events
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent peer-to-peer communication skills
Good to have:
  • Knowledge and/or experience of marketing automation
  • Some knowledge and/or experience of the higher education marketing space is desirable but not essential
  • Some knowledge and/or experience of HubSpot functions, features, and reporting capabilities
  • Experience with WordPress, Zoom or similar platforms

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home and our office.

Typically, employees are expected to work 2-3 days in the office per week.

As a Online Marketing Executive, this is what you’ll be doing:

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Marketing Executive to help deliver our institutional facing (B2B) marketing strategy and to support the acquisition of leads for our sales teams.


You will manage the operations for digital events (webinars).  This will include working with Sales, Marketing and colleagues across our global business to deliver to an agreed plan.  You will be responsible for following and adding value to an agreed checklist and will manage the end-to-end delivery of webinars including uploading content on the webpages and assisting with event logistics and management.    


You will also support the delivery of marketing campaigns and projects. This will include social posts, updating web pages, building and sending marketing emails, and creating reports.


The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of best practice in a marketing setting and experience in events and or marketing. As a highly organised individual, the candidate will have excellent communications skills and be deadline driven. We’re looking for someone who is a quick learner, loves solving problems, and would thrive in a busy global team. 

Support and training will be given to ensure success but a can do attitude, willingness to learn and a digital first approach are critical. 

 

Role responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of B2B student recruitment campaigns in collaboration with wider institutional marketing team, content, creative and key stakeholders. Key marketing channels include email, website, webinar, social and digital.
  • Brief marketing tasks into the service teams, e.g. creative and content. Give clear direction and deadlines, provide constructive feedback to ensure the delivery meets the brief and achieves the objective.
  • Review, refine, maintain and manage processes that support the team and wider business
  • Plan and deliver engaging webinars in collaboration with the marketing lead, panellists and the sales team.
  • Manage the webinar calendar and oversee technical setup and execution.
  • Handle webinar follow-up actions, including distributing recordings and gathering feedback.
  • Maintain and update web pages and forms, and build bespoke landing pages.
  • Draft social media posts to support campaign delivery.
  • Create and send targeted email marketing campaigns, including building and managing audience lists.
  • Use tracked links to support campaign evaluation and generate reports on marketing campaign performance.
  • Conduct market research to inform marketing campaigns and understand competitors.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to coordinate efforts and share insights.

 

Key skills and experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a marketing role. B2B or B2C general marketing.
  • Experience of delivering webinars or digital events.
  • Process driven with digital and or data skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Be a forward thinker - be able to pre-empt challenges and have a problem-solving approach.
  • Fast learner with a digital first approach.
  • Have excellent peer-to-peer communication skills, doing so with an authenticity that builds trust and confidence.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of marketing automation.
  • Some knowledge and/or experience of the higher education marketing space is desirable but not essential.
  • Some knowledge and/or experience of HubSpot functions, features, and reporting capabilities   
  • Experience with WordPress, Zoom or similar platforms
