About Krea

At Krea, we're dedicated to making AI intuitive and controllable for creatives. Our mission is to build tools that empower human creativity, not replace it. We believe AI is a new medium that allows us to express ourselves through various formats—text, images, video, sound, and even 3D. We're building better, smarter, and more controllable tools to harness this medium. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI and empowering human creativity, we'd love to hear from you.

We’re backed by Bain Capital Ventures, A16Z, Abstract Ventures, Pebblebed and many others.

As Lead Community Manager, you’ll manage all aspects of Krea’s growing artist community through platforms like Discord, and by running events in-person across our artist hubs, such as San Francisco, NYC, and Los Angeles.

Our culture:

  • We work full-time and in-person at our waterfront office in San Francisco.

  • We believe in investing heavily in early potential: attaching side-projects is heavily encouraged.

  • We believe that demonstrated interest in the creative space is key: our team includes musicians, designers, visual artists and more.

What you'll do:

  • Manage Krea's social media accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging communication across platforms.

  • Work with our Lead Brand Designer creating compelling content, tailored to each social media channel audience to enhance brand development, visibility, and user engagement.

  • Collaborate with motion graphic designers to plan and schedule regular product launches and promotional campaigns.

  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess performance and inform future strategies.

  • Organize virtual and in-person events to strengthen community ties and promote Krea's offerings.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in social media and community management to keep Krea at the forefront of digital engagement.

Example experience and tacit skills we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.

  • Proven experience in managing social media and in-person events, especially in the creative communities.

  • Experience in event planning and execution.

  • Strong understanding of community engagement strategies, particularly on Discord.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools to monitor and report on social media performance.

  • Demonstrated passion for AI and creative tooling.

  • Data-driven approach to measuring community engagement and success.

Example Ideal Candidate

A Discord or Reddit community moderator for technologies like Pika or Midjourney, that organizes or attends in-person AI meet-ups with proven contributions.

What we offer

  • Openness to sponsoring International candidates (e.g STEM OPT, OPT, H1B, O1, E3)

  • Work alongside a world class developing the future of AI tooling

  • Significant impact on Krea’s market presence and growth

  • Competitive compensation (75% percentile of market rates) with significant upside
