The manager will also collaborate with various departments, provide status updates, and analyze data to optimize campaigns. Additionally, they will support influencer marketing and retail promotions. This role requires a passion for video games, a proven track record in launching titles, and experience in marketing campaigns.

What We Need:

The Marketing Manager will play a valued role in driving and supporting North American marketing strategy, as well as execution of integrated marketing efforts. The role will also help develop go to market plans for each market in the region and work with cross-functional teams to ensure those plans are executed effectively, and are optimized as needed, to meet business and marketing targets.

What You Will Do:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, North America Core Games, you will be responsible for helping drive marketing execution for U.S. and Canada. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager with a deep passion for video games and a proven track record in launching successful video game titles. You will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts by helping to drive execution for multiple gaming titles across the US and Canada. This position is ideal for someone with 4+ years of experience with marketing experience within the games industry, entertainment industry or creative agency project management, who understands the intricacies of launching a full funnel marketing campaign from the planning stage to launch.  

Campaign Execution & Coordination
Report into the Sr. Manager of marketing to help execute integrated marketing plans for allocated video game titles. Ensure that all components (creative assets, media placements, promotional activities) are delivered on time and within scope. Maintain detailed documentation of campaign activities, including timelines, budgets, and asset lists. 

Project Management & Timeline Management
Act as project management point of contact for paid media agencies, ensuring all media partner specifications are up-to-date and correct and provided to creative teams in a timely manner. Ensure that all marketing activities, events, and promotions are executed according to the agreed-upon timelines. Regularly track and update key campaign documents and share status with internal stakeholders on the status of campaigns and ensure milestones are met. Track ongoing campaigns and promotions to ensure they’re executing as planned. Work with internal teams optimize campaigns, resolve issues, and make adjustments as necessary to keep things on track and efficient.

Briefing
Write clear, detailed briefing documents for external agencies and internal creative services teams, ensuring all campaign objectives, key deliverables, timelines, and brand guidelines are clearly communicated. Drive creative assets development, review and approval process  and are delivered on time. Review custom content and prepare notes for final review for Sr. Manager. Manage the feedback loop to ensure creative assets align with marketing goals, best practices and high quality.

Creative Asset Management
Work closely with internal and external creative teams to ensure assets meet the campaign brief & requirements and are delivered on time. Work closely with the creative teams to produce high-quality, on-brand assets that support the marketing strategy and brand identity. Maintain close communication with media agencies to ensure all media materials are delivered and placed as planned. Oversee the trafficking, versioning, and delivery of all creative assets (paid media, retail, influencer) across different channels.

Budget & Financing Tracking and reporting
Process vendor contracts and RFPs. Create and reconcile POs, process invoices for payments and work with Sr. manager to update budget tracker and monitor campaign budgets, ensuring that all activities remain within budget. 

Cross-Department Collaboration
Liaison between different teams to coordinate activities and resolve any blockers that arise. Provide regular status updates to senior managers and stakeholders on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Reporting & Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation of campaign activities, including timelines, budgets, and asset lists. Provide regular status updates to senior managers and stakeholders on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Campaign Monitoring & Optimization
Partner with the Performance Marketing, Commercial, and Analytics teams to gather insights on game behaviors, sales performance, audience engagement, and KPIs. Use this data to continuously optimize campaigns, ensuring marketing efforts meet or exceed targets

Influencer Marketing Support
Support the implementation of influencer campaigns. Work closely with  the influencer marketing point persons by reviewing content for approvals,  help troubleshoot, and make sure that campaigns go live on time. Help track performance and ensure campaign goals are met.

Retail and Promotional Activities
Support the execution of retail marketing campaigns, including working with the Channel/Sales teams to ensure all promotional materials are prepared and delivered on time. Track promotional activities to ensure they align with the sales plan and update the team on progress.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, specifically within the video game industry or a similar entertainment industry roles
  • Previous experience in creative agency project management, with a solid understanding of marketing campaigns, creative workflows, and media execution.
  • Hands-on experience in launching video game titles, executing  marketing campaigns from start to finish, and optimizing them for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Proven success in handling finance aspects
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies (including media, retail, influencer, and digital campaigns) that support business objectives.
  • Experience as a cross functional communicator to create collaboration, clear information flow and connective tissue between groups.
  • Experience in both digital and offline marketing channels, including paid media, social media, influencer marketing.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple moving parts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage & track complex timelines, ensuring that all milestones are achieved.
  • Solid knowledge of the gaming industry, including trends, consumer behavior, and competition.
  • Proficient in analyzing data to inform decisions and optimize campaign performance.
