The role: Marketing Motion Designer

We’re looking for a creative, results-driven Motion Designer to join our friendly Ad Creative team in Stockholm for a 12-month parental leave cover.

At MAG Interactive, ideas quickly turn into measurable results. You’ll have the freedom to explore new ad concepts, see them tested within days, and learn from every outcome. Working in a supportive, inclusive team, you’ll bring your vision to life and see the real impact of your creativity in an innovative culture that values experimentation and growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and deliver high-performing video ads for our mobile games.
• Keep an eye on competitor ads and industry trends for fresh inspiration.
• Test, learn, and refine quickly based on ad performance.
• Welcome feedback from the team and use it to continuously improve your work.
• Use your animation expertise alongside gameplay capture to craft engaging ads.
• Balance innovative thinking with reliable production work. Sometimes developing bold new ideas, other times adapting existing assets.
• Create ads for prototype games, even when gameplay isn’t yet available.
• Collaborate with our User Acquisition team to deliver strong, measurable results.
• Contribute to creative production across networks and ASO materials.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in marketing for games or apps.
• Proven experience creating video ads for user acquisition.
• Strong skills with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects.
• Confident using Figma.
• Organized, efficient, and curious about new tools and ways of working.
• Creative and innovative, while also comfortable with day-to-day production.
• You can recognise ‘good enough’ and avoid over-polishing where it’s unnecessary.
• Experienced in using AI tools to generate ideas and streamline production.
• You are eager to be part of a supportive, high-performing team.

Nice-to-haves (but not essential!)

• Illustration and layout skills for key art and feature images.
• Experience developing playable ads.
