Every day, our Maintenance department takes on exciting technical challenges. One goal: to ensure the smooth operation of all park activities/attractions/buildings and thus allow our visitors to have fun all year round, in complete safety.
Within a team of mechanical engineers and under the responsibility of the Engineering Manager, you provide recommendations or studies to continuously correct and improve the reliability of mechanical equipment for attractions, including tracks and vehicles, in the areas of safety, reliability, maintainability, and operational performance.
You thus play a key role in satisfying our visitors and perpetuating the Disney magic, while respecting the five keys: Safety, Courtesy, Inclusion, Show, and Efficiency.
Your Missions?
- Process a technical modification request from its creation to its generalization on an attraction, respecting deadlines.
- Implement maintenance, rehabilitation, and obsolescence plans for equipment, being proactive in sustaining and modernizing installations.
- Define palliative conditions and monitor action plans to be implemented on mechanical equipment of attractions (including track systems, vehicles).
- Assess, anticipate risks, and immediately implement all measures to reduce the impact of a shutdown, respecting safety rules for people and property.
- Establish technical documentation associated with a design change (specifications, justification, calculation note).
- Deliver immediate situation reports to clients or hierarchy whenever necessary.
- Respect the processes established within the department.
- Carry out studies in collaboration with a designer.
- Share technical elements and best practices with other parks worldwide.
- Ensure the updating of technical documentation for equipment and attractions under your responsibility and within your scope of activity.
Your profile?
- Engineering Degree/Bac +5 in Mechanical Engineering
- Ideally 3 years minimum experience in mechanical project management, in a just-in-time industry such as automotive, and multi-component (bearings, cylinders, etc.)
- Skills in hydraulics and/or pneumatics would be a plus.
- CAD skills (Solidworks)
- Ability to find innovative solutions to original or uncommon problems.
- Good interpersonal skills, curiosity, openness to innovation.
- Required English level B2
- Proficiency in Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
