Job Description
Paytm, a leading mobile payments and financial services company in India, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive – Associate to support daily business operations. The role involves assisting in process execution, data handling, coordinating between various teams such as sales, customer support, logistics, and finance, and ensuring timely task completion. The ideal candidate will maintain databases, monitor task queues, analyze operational data for improvements, ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, and perform administrative tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Must have:
- Assist in day-to-day operational tasks
- Maintain and update internal databases and reports
- Coordinate with internal teams
- Monitor task queues and escalate issues
- Analyze basic operational data
- Ensure compliance with SOPs
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Basic understanding of operations and KYC guidelines

About the role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive – Associate to support our daily business operations. The ideal candidate will assist in process execution, data handling, coordination between teams, and ensuring timely task completion. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the day-to-day execution of operational tasks.
• Maintain and update internal databases, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, customer support, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth workflows.
• Monitor task queues and escalate any delays or issues to supervisors.
• Analyze basic operational data to find trends or errors and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Help in onboarding new vendors/clients (if applicable).
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills (basic formulas, sorting/filtering, etc.)
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Problem-solving mindset
• Basic understanding of operations and process flow and KYC guidelines
Pre Requisites:
. Minimum 2 years of work exIt will be a 6 day working Noida office based requirement only ( Sundays might be working based on roasters )
. Bachelor's or relevant degree
