Job Description

Intel's Foundry Automation group is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to partner with end users globally in Fab Manufacturing and Engineering. This role involves delivering innovative MES modeling solutions, integrating MES solutions with software development teams, and executing testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation of business processes. The engineer will gather requirements, analyze processes, manage stakeholders, and prioritize configuration changes to support continuous improvement in highly automated factories.
Good To Have:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, specifically the semiconductor industry.
  • Working knowledge of automated testing methodology.
  • Working knowledge of MES Fab300 console.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science or similar STEM degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Collaborate and engage with internal customers/partners to identify emerging automation needs and trends.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to mitigate and solve technical and manufacturing challenges.
  • Adapt and prioritize work based on the changing needs of the factory.
  • Provide end user support by participating in on-call rotation.
  • Co-develop tools/business processes that support efficiency.
  • Proactive and willing to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
  • Enthusiastic collaborator and organizer and a self-starter.
  • Collaborative and interpersonal skills, willing to influence and motivate others.
  • Effectively communicate and articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Technical problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, be inquisitive, detail oriented, have the drive to learn new things and to investigate anomalies.
  • Must have good or excellent communication skills and be able to work with different domains/geos.

Life at Intel

In this position you partner with end users locally and across the globe in Fab Manufacturing and Engineering to deliver innovative MES modeling solutions specially crafted for the ever-changing needs of our highly automated factories. To integrate MES solutions, you will work closely with our Software Development teams and execute testing, implementation, troubleshooting and documentation of business processes.

Our daily challenges include gathering requirements, analyzing existing processes and procedures, stakeholder management, prioritizing configuration changes in manufacturing execution systems and managing projects that support development and continuous improvement.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to mitigate and solve technical and manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science or other similar STEM degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, specifically the semiconductor industry will be an asset.
  • Working Knowledge of automated testing methodology.
  • Working knowledge of MES Fab300 console.

$126,420.00-239,750.00 USD
