Job Description

As a Middle .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with an agile team, contributing to architecture decisions, ensuring code quality, and promoting continuous improvement. Your tasks will include implementing backend services, writing clean code, participating in code reviews, assisting in integrating services, collaborating with team members, writing tests, supporting CI/CD processes, and troubleshooting. The role involves working with .NET (C#), microservices architecture, and various storage, messaging, and cloud technologies. You will be expected to contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance software solutions that optimize vehicle damage processing.
Must have:
  • 3 years of experience in the Microsoft development stack (C#/.NET, SQL Server).
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and basic knowledge of SOLID principles
  • Basic experience or understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Proactive, self-organized problem solver with an innovative mindset.
  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English or German.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of ReactJS, Blazor, TypeScript

Your Role:

As a Middle .NET Developer you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with an agile team, contributing to architecture decisions, ensuring code quality, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement backend services and features using .NET (C#), aligned with microservices architecture.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to established coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
  • Assist in the integration of services and data sources within the system.
  • Collaborate with team members during daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and refinements.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to support stable development.
  • Support CI/CD processes and contribute to deployment tasks under guidance.
  • Take part in troubleshooting and optimizing backend services.

Tech Stack & Tools:

  • NET (C#), microservices architecture (.NET 6, .NET 8, some legacy .NET 4.5).
  • Storage: SQL Server, AWS S3, MongoDB.
  • Messaging & Async Processing: RabbitMQ, Hangfire.
  • Cloud & Hosting: On-premise with strategic migration to AWS or Azure, VMware Tanzu for hybrid environments.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: GitLab, ELK stack, Grafana, Sentry.
  • Frontend: ReactJS, Blazor (basic familiarity is a plus)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • 3 years of experience in the Microsoft development stack (C#/.NET, SQL Server).
