We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer with experience in software testing, specifically in the gambling industry and slot game testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of testing methodologies, an understanding of game mechanics and logic, and experience with localizations and regulatory compliance. This role requires close collaboration with developers and game designers to ensure seamless gameplay and compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
• Review and analyze game requirements, mechanics, and technical specifications
• Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, test runs) for game testing
• Perform different types of testing including localization and regulatory testing
• Collaborate with developers, game designers, and product owners to improve game quality
• Create bug reports and tasks in Jira
• Analyze test results, problems, or failures
• Provide detailed test reports
• 2+ years of experience in QA with a focus on gambling projects or slot game testing
• Strong knowledge of game testing methodologies and different types of testing (functional, regression, exploratory, etc.)
• Experience in creating and reviewing test cases, checklists, and test runs
• Experience in executing test cases for game logic, UI/UX, animations, and sounds
• Experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and different browsers
• Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance testing
• Familiarity with game client-server architecture
• Experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST API testing)
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JSON, XML
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good written and spoken English
• ISTQB certificate(s)
• Experience in using test automation tools
First 30–90 Days (Probation):
• Familiarization with slot game mechanics
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation
• Collaboration with the team to ensure clear defect reporting and tracking
• Execution of manual testing for at least 2 slot games
3–12 Months & Beyond (Long-Term Impact):
• Improvement of test coverage and defect prevention strategies
• Contribution to automation frameworks for repetitive game tests
• Optimization of testing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce testing time
Interview process:
• First round: HR interview with a test
