Minecraft Set Designer/Builder - Temporary

CatFace is looking for a skilled temporary builder who is interested in contributing and the creation of Minecraft worlds that will reach millions of viewers. This position is ideal for an experienced builder that is interested in a full time temporary position, creating multiple small to mid sized sets. Candidates must be motivated to work effectively in a fast paced Youtube environment and willing to make changes to build based on the overall creative direction of a given project. Our ideal candidate will possess the drive and energy to assist workflow in any way possible including learning new mods, tools and brand guidelines.

All candidates must deliver a full resume with a portfolio of build examples to be considered for this position.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Production team with the creation of in game sets.
• Work independently to complete required sets with minimal supervision according to brand standards
• Assist in the creation of Blockbench models for use in game when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of the Minecraft platform
• 2+ years of Minecraft building experience.
• Passion for YouTube Content, desire to understand how it works, and the ability to absorb and learn to improve videos, brainstorm ideas and expand in successful ways.
• Mastery of basic Minecraft server commands and command block scripting
• Mastery of World Edit and/or Voxel Sniper
• Knowledge of the mods Chisels & Bits and/or Little Tiles
• Deep knowledge of the Minecraft YouTube space and the ability to analyze upcoming building trends and techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment and shift gears at a moment's notice.
• Great and timely communication skills.
