We’re looking to hire a PR
Event Manager to lead high-energy, culturally relevant activations and events. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands what resonates with kids, Gen Z, and youth-centric audiences.

The Event Manager plan, manage, and execute a wide range of experiences that drive brand awareness and engagement, including:

• Pop-up activations
• PR and influencer events
• Trade shows
• Supplier and partner activations

You’ll be working cross-functionally with brand, production, partnerships, and external vendors to ensure event logistics, execution, and follow-through are seamless.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for branded events, pop-ups, and PR activations
• Lead end-to-end planning and production of influencer events, trade shows, and press-facing experiences
• Serve as the main point of contact for agency partners, vendors, and media/influencer teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to bring experiences to life
• Own event budgets, including forecasting, reconciliation, and vendor negotiations
• Drive post-event reporting, including ROI analysis and actionable insights
• Contribute to influencer and ambassador strategies in partnership with PR and marketing teams
• Support creative concepting for experiential moments that resonate with Gen Z and youth audiences
• Manage production timelines, run-of-shows, and staffing for smooth execution
• Lead onsite execution, ensuring logistics flow and issues are resolved in real-time
• Ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints and activations
• Maintain strong relationships with external collaborators, press, and creators
• Must be based in Austin, Texas or willing to relocate

What We're Looking For

• 4–6+ years of experience producing events for Gen Z, youth, or family-focused audiences
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end execution of live events, pop-ups, influencer activations, and press experiences
• Background in toys, gaming, entertainment, or digital media industries strongly preferred
• Experience managing brand partnerships, negotiating with vendors, and overseeing cross-functional logistics
• Familiarity with PR and influencer strategy — able to contribute to outreach planning and media moments
• Creative, energetic, and resourceful problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments
• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills
• Able to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities quickly without dropping the ball
• Collaborative team player with a bold, playful spirit and deep understanding of what engages younger audiences
