Job Description

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing both virtual and in-person events globally to engage the digital collectibles community, celebrate new releases, and foster a vibrant collector community. The key responsibilities involve coordinating with internal stakeholders to design events according to the Events Strategy, managing and attending in-person events within North America, coordinating logistics for virtual events, facilitating community events, and handling event budgets. The role requires a self-starter work ethic, strong coordination skills, and excellent communication skills, working approximately 20 hours per week as an indefinite part-time contract.

About the Role

We are on the lookout for an Events Coordinator to join our Communications & Community team. You will assist in delivering global events that keep our amazing community engaged. This is an indefinite part-time contract, based remotely in North America. Due to the nature of our events, we anticipate that your average weekly workload will be around 20 hours. However, flexibility is essential, as the hours will fluctuate based on event schedules and requirements.


As the Events Coordinator at Veve, you will:

  • Bring our digital collectibles community to life through engaging and impactful events.
  • Creatively plan, organise, and execute both virtual and in-person events globally that celebrate our platform, showcase new releases, and foster a vibrant collector community.


The key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design VeVe events, delivering according to our Events Strategy.
  • Plan, manage and attend in-person events (within North America), including industry conventions, product launch parties, and exclusive collector meetups.
  • Coordinate logistics for virtual events (such as live product drops, community meetups, and Q&A sessions).
  • Coordinate and work closely with VeVe Moderators to facilitate community events and global shipping of branded collateral.
  • Handle event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked and aligned with financial guidelines.

You will have:

  • A self-starter work ethic, strong coordination skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Professional events exposure, and some marketing experience.
  • The ability to work flexibly, be accountable for your areas of responsibility and communicate responsively.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and external partners.
  • Ability to foster a love of VeVe, our community and our events.
  • Familiarity with the digital, entertainment, or collectibles industry is highly desirable.
