Job Description

The Occupational Health Services Associate will perform various complex tasks, including both internal and external customer service. They will be responsible for scheduling occupational health testing, processing and completing testing results for clients, and understanding the regulations for drug and occupational health testing. The associate will consult with vendors, labs, and clinics on unusual test results. They will also assist clients with inquiries via calls and emails. This role requires meeting company standards, maintaining service level agreements, contributing to a positive team environment, and creating work instructions.

  • Strong written and verbal comprehension

The OHS Associate will achieve proficiency in the requirements below through job-related training and work experience. The OHS Associate will perform a variety of complex tasks including customer service both internal and external. A successful OHS Associate will be eager to learn new and complex processes, as well as have a desire to achieve production and quality goals.     Responsibilities
  • Schedule donor occupational health testing within vendor systems.  
  • Process and complete drug and occupational health testing results to ensure delivery to clients 
  • Learn and understand the regulated processes for both drug and occupational health testing. 
  • Consult with vendors, labs, clinics, and medical review services on abnormal test situations or results 
  • Work with internal teams to assist clients 
  • Respond to incoming calls or emails from clients, internal departments, and vendors requesting information test results 
  • Meeting attendance, production and quality standards of the company/department. 
  • Records details of all calls and tasks, as well as actions taken, into Salesforce.  
  • Other duties related as assigned by management 
  • Meets Accurate Background’s Employment Screening quality standards for services by adhering to client guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort in maintaining service level agreements (SLA) 
  • Contribute to a positive team environment  
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining work instructions and Milo flow charts. 
  • Ability to multitask, make decisions, and work independently and well as with a team. 
Qualifications, Sills and Experience
  • High school degree or GED required. 
  • Able to complete work with minimal errors under limited supervision required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive) required.  
  • Ability to multitask (i.e., read or type while talking on the phone) required.  
  • Strong written and verbal comprehension and expression skills required.  
  • Ability to type 35+ WPM required. 
  • Previous experience with CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce) preferred. 
  • Must take ownership, be open, work as one, and stay curious.  
$13.70 - $16 an hour
The annual base hourly for this position ranges from $13.70 - $16.00. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training.  This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
