Propose of Job

This position will be pivotal in supporting the organization’s staffing needs by managing resource requests and aligning talent with project requirements. Reporting to the Staffing Manager, this individual will coordinate global resource assignments, considering role requirements, project schedules, resource availability, skillsets, professional goals, and organizational objectives.


We'll trust you to:


  • Works closely with Managers and Partners to ensure client projects are staffed appropriately.
  • Gains an understanding of the skills and experiences of the consultants along with their career goals and aspirations to ensure client/project allocations align accordingly.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the resource management system and reviews staffing allocations versus actuals to reduce revenue leakage.
  • Maintain an up-to-date skills database by proactively ensuring resources regularly update their internal resumes and profiles. Continuously assess and identify skill gaps across the workforce to inform future staffing needs, enabling better alignment of talent to upcoming projects and initiatives. Collaborates with the Staffing Manager to develop strategies for addressing skill shortages and enhancing workforce capabilities.
  • Tracks missing timesheets to ensure compliance and accurate reporting of key KPIs.
  • Coordinate staffing-related activities to support the India offices in onboarding new hires, ensuring smooth integration into project teams and alignment with resource allocation plans.
  • Provides accurate and timely reporting and analysis related to projected and actual hours, utilization, and headcount; monitors over and under-utilized resources and develops actions to balance workloads.
  • Evaluate current staffing processes and reporting, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Pull, analyze, and interpret billings, resource capacity, and forecasting data, preparing actional insights and reports for the leadership team to support strategic decision-making and resource planning.
  • Assist the Staffing Manager in preparing PowerPoint presentations for key meetings, including the monthly staffing call, bi-weekly office partner lead call, and other operational presentations for the leadership team and board of directors, ensuring data-driven insights and clear communication of requests.
  • Fosters an innovative, collaborative, and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Performs other related work, based on client needs and internal team requests.


You'll need to have:


  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in consulting, resource management, or operations experience for a professional services or management consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management and change management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities while driving key deliverables.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization, influence others and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, conduct business in an ethical fashion, and maintain confidentiality when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and PowerPoint at the intermediate or advanced levels and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Self-starter, proactive with initiative/leadership, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal/ written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective project management and people management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly.
