Job Description

This role is for a Senior Technical Developer specializing in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within marketing technology platforms, particularly Sales Force Marketing Cloud (SFMC). The developer will support marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, websites, and other digital marketing initiatives. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions, optimize customer engagement, and translate complex life sciences challenges into AI-driven innovations for pharmaceutical clients.
Must have:
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within marketing technology platforms.
  • Support marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, websites, and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Seamlessly integrate existing data sources with marketing technology platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with marketing technology platforms.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and maintain data governance standards across multiple platforms.
  • Define and implement data integration strategies for importing and exporting data.
  • Develop and implement responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates and landing pages.
  • Stay up to date with the latest marketing platform features, releases, and trends.
  • Perform UAT, troubleshoot, and fix bugs.
  • Identify and resolve issues during development and implementation of journey campaigns.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with CDPs and platform integration using APIs
  • Experience with Adobe’s Marketo

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions tailored to pharmaceutical clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business consultants, and software developers to translate complex life sciences challenges into AI-driven innovations

We'll trust you to:

  • This position requires a Full Stack Developer specializing in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within marketing technology platforms to support marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, websites and other digital marketing initiatives. Preferred familiarity with CDPs and platform integration using APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement solutions to meet business requirements and optimize customer engagement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to seamlessly integrate existing data sources with marketing technology platforms for efficient data transfer and synchronization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. SFMC AMPScript, Marketo’s Velocity, SSJS)
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud architecture, schema, and configuration.
  • API Knowledge: Proficiency in utilizing marketing platform APIs for data migration, system integration, and automation.
  • We also prefer a candidate with experience coding PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, SSJS, SQL and HTML/CSS.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with marketing technology platforms.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions leveraging different platforms.
  • Preference is with SFMC, but an ideal candidate would have experience with Adobe’s Marketo.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and maintain data governance standards across multiple platforms.
  • Define and implement data integration strategies for importing and exporting data into/out of multiple platforms.
  • Develop and implement responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates and landing pages.
  • Stay up to date with the latest marketing platform features, releases, and trends in digital marketing and email marketing.
  • Ability to perform UAT, troubleshoot, and fix bugs

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing technology development and implementation
  • SQL, Data Modeling & Data views: Should be comfortable working with databases and have a good understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language), manipulating data within a data model.
  • Experience and knowledge using either Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo’s various modules to build triggered marketings campaigns (e.g SFMC’s Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Content Builder and Cloud Pages).
  • Strong Understanding of marketing automation concepts. Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the development and implementation of journey campaigns, which includes diagnosing errors, debugging code, and ensuring proper functionality.
  • Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, SSJS, AMPscript, SQL and HTML/CSS.
  • Strong experience in developing responsive email templates and landing pages.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, CDPs and sales and marketing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and collaboration skills
