Job Description

The System Modeling Engineer will lead the development of high-level models of complex systems for simulation, verification, and emulation. Responsibilities include creating, testing, and maintaining C/C++/SystemC models of hardware and software components. They will also integrate these models into larger system models and collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and quality. This role involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing to improving modeling and simulation processes. The job includes creating virtual models using SystemC/C++ and C libraries, testing and debugging, integrating models into emulation and verification environments, working on Industry Emulation platforms such as Zebu, Palladium, Veloce, integrating the models into virtual platforms, maintaining and updating models, and documenting models and their interfaces. Additionally, the role entails collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders and contributing to improvements in modeling and simulation processes.
Must have:
  • 5-8 years of experience in SystemC/C++/C modeling
  • Exposure to Emulation tools such Palladium, Zebu, Veloce
  • Familiar with SystemC simulation tools and frameworks

System Engineer

We are looking for a System Modelling Engineer to lead our work on developing high-level models of complex systems for simulation, verification and Emulation purposes. You will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining C/C++/SystemC models of hardware and software components, as well as integrating them into larger system models. You will also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of the models and their alignment with the specifications and requirements. You will also mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of the modelling and simulation processes and tools.

What You'll do:

  • Create virtual models of our connectivity IPs using SystemC/C++ and C libraries
  • Test and debug the models using SystemC simulation tools and frameworks
  • Integrate models into emulation and verification environments to enable early software development as well perform functional simulations.
  • Work on Industry Emulation platforms such as Zebu, Palladium, Veloce
  • Integrate the models into virtual platforms and verify their functionality and performance
  • Maintain and update the models according to the changes in the design and requirements
  • Document the models and their interfaces and provide support for their usage and integration
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the consistency and quality of the models and their alignment with the specifications and requirements
  • Contribute to the improvement of the modelling and simulation processes and tools and propose new solutions and best practices.

What You'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in SystemC/C++/C modelling and simulation
  • Exposure to Emulation tools such Palladium, Zebu, Veloce.
  • Familiar with SystemC simulation tools and frameworks, such as TLM2.0, and UVM-SystemC
  • Knowledge of hardware and software design and verification methodologies and standards
  • Experience in modelling and simulating complex systems, such as embedded systems, SoCs, or ASICs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
