CatFace is seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to support the HR Manager in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This on-site role in Austin, TX, involves owning a broad range of HR functions, including full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HRIS administration. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency through streamlined processes and effective use of HR technology, ensuring legal compliance and supporting strategic HR initiatives.
Must have:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR inquiries
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Support HR compliance efforts across the board; including reporting and audits in benefits and training
- Assist in maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS (preferably BambooHR)
- Support HR projects such as engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, and training programs
- Be a second set of eyes and sounding board to ensure legal compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support the HR Manager in all aspects of HR operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily functions and strategic initiatives
- Understand key HR metrics and how to interpret them
- Partner with HR Manager to identify needs and build strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional HR certification required (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment
- Proven experience with applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of employment/labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to support our HR Manager in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning a broad range of HR functions, including the majority of full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, sharing HRIS administration; driving efficiency through streamlined processes, automation, and effective use of HR technology. A professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is required, and familiarity with BambooHR is highly preferred.
This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
HR Generalist Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR inquiries

- Ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional HR certification required (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment
- Proven experience with applicant tracking systems; BambooHR experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of employment/labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
