Job Summary
Join the Audi F1 Project as a Mission Control Coordinator for power train matters, contributing significantly to the project's success from 2026. Must Have

- In-depth technical expertise in power train systems
- Solid knowledge in data analysis and evaluation
- Understanding of race car dynamics and powertrain parameters
- Several years of professional experience in the motorsport sector

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).
As a mission control coordinator for power train matters in the context of the complete vehicle, you will make a significant contribution to the success of the project and set the development direction for the various subdivisions/specialist departments. You will be involved in maximising the performance of one of the most powerful and efficient hybrid drivetrains in the highly competitive motorsport environment of Formula 1.
Your Mission
Engineer, responsible for coordinating all activities throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases. Ensures optimal performance and reliability by aligning processes and decisions with trackside teams and management.
- Coordinate all activities during Mission Control events
- Act as main contact person for Mission Control members and general inquiries from Hinwil and race track
- Collaborate closely with the Power Unit race team lead
- Prepare individual working environments for Mission Control and clarify responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvements in procedures, working environments, and responsibilities across AFR for Mission Control
- Attend in relevant meetings with the race team and distribute key information
- Report to management and provide race weekend summaries, including top issues
- Monitor Power Train performance in the context of full vehicle performance
- Develop and align KPI reports from measurement data for the CTO organization
- Track and analyze relevant KPIs and coordinate actions for assessment
- Conduct competitor analysis for Power Train performance
- Support component allocation for race track and proactively discuss part changes based on lifetime and issues
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering or a comparable technical field
- In-depth technical expertise in power train systems
- Solid knowledge in data analysis and evaluation
- Understanding of race car dynamics and key influencing parameters of the powertrain
- Strong analytical, systematic and team driven working style
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and working effectively under time constraints
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Several years of professional experience in the motorsport sector
