Must Have

  • Drive business development in Slovenia and SEE, focusing on manufacturing sectors.

  • Lead projects focused on business model transformation, commercial transformation, operational excellence, supply chain optimization, and digitalization (traditional and AI).

  • Collaborate with PwC teams regionally and globally.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • 4-8 years of experience in consulting and industry, preferably in manufacturing, industry, trade.
  • Proven successful project management of operational improvements and transformation projects.
  • Understanding of industrial modernization trends (automation, Industry 4.0, digitized supply chain).
  • Analytical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong leadership skills for project work and team management.
  • Experience in leading complex initiatives.
  • Master's degree in business or technical sciences.
  • Fluent in English and Slovenian (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within SEE for client meetings.

  • MBA and/or PhD
  • Fluency in other SEE languages

Location: Ljubljana, part of PwC's consulting practice for Southeast Europe (covering Slovenia, Croatia, BiH, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia)

What you will do

  • Promote business development in Slovenia and SEE, with an emphasis (primarily, but not exclusively) on manufacturing sectors (including automotive industry, industrial manufacturing, advanced technologies, and trade).
  • Prepare proposals and solutions for clients, from public institutions to leading industrial and energy companies.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at management level and understand complex client requirements.
  • Lead projects focused on business model transformation, commercial transformation, operational excellence, supply chain optimization, and digitalization, both traditionally and using artificial intelligence.
  • Combine strategic thinking with practical execution to help companies achieve sustainable transformation, innovation, and growth.
  • Collaborate with PwC teams in the CEE region, Europe, and globally to bring international best practices to local markets.
  • Mentor and train junior team members to develop consulting and industry competencies.

What we expect from you

  • 4–8 years of experience in consulting and industry, preferably in manufacturing, industry, trade, or related sectors.
  • Proven successful project management of operational improvements and transformation projects is desirable.
  • Understanding of industrial modernization trends (automation, Industry 4.0, digitized supply chain).
  • Ability to combine a global perspective with local knowledge to achieve tangible results.
  • Analytical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach; strong leadership skills for project work and team management, and experience in leading complex initiatives.
  • Master's degree in business or technical sciences (MBA and/or PhD is an advantage).
  • Fluent in English and Slovenian (spoken and written), and possibly other SEE languages.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within SEE for client meetings.
