Job Summary

Flock Safety is seeking a Field Marketing Operations Manager to lead the strategy, systems, and execution of field marketing programs. This role is crucial for building the operational foundation to deliver measurable experiences, generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and strengthen customer engagement. The manager will own process design, campaign operations, and performance reporting, ensuring seamless execution and optimization across all programs, while also managing vendor coordination and infrastructure.

Must Have

  • Lead strategy, systems, and execution for field marketing programs.

  • 4-6 years of experience in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or Marketing Operations.
  • Proven experience managing complex event programs.
  • Proficiency in CRM and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical acumen.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Good to Have

  • B2B experience preferred in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or Marketing Operations.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred for CRM.
  • Proficiency in Asana preferred for project management tools.

The Opportunity

At Flock Safety, the Field Marketing Operations Manager will lead the strategy, systems, and execution that power our field marketing programs. This role is responsible for building the operational foundation that enables the Field Marketing team to deliver exceptional, measurable experiences—from flagship conferences to regional activations—that generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and strengthen customer engagement.

This individual will own process design, campaign operations, and performance reporting to ensure seamless execution and continual optimization across programs. The Field Marketing Operations Manager will also lead vendor and cross-functional coordination, as well as manage tools and infrastructure to deliver efficiency and excellence at scale.

The Skillset

  • 4–6 years of experience in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or Marketing Operations (B2B preferred).
  • Proven experience managing complex event programs and supporting teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) and project management tools (Asana preferred).
  • Strong analytical acumen with experience translating marketing data into business insights.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a focus on driving clarity and results.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

90 Days at Flock

The First 30 Days

  • You understand our field marketing and events workflows
  • You’ve built strong cross-team relationships
  • You’ve surfaced at least one improvement opportunity
  • You’ve attended an event and gained a deep grasp of the event process

The First 60 Days

  • Setup time with TSMs recently in the field to understand their event experience and areas we can improve our processes
  • Review the pre-event and post-event checklists to refine event processes to improve future events.
  • Create a strategy plan for Field Marketing Operations with areas for improvement to deliver world-class event experiences to our internal and external partners

90 Days & Beyond

  • Take full ownership of Field Marketing Operations strategy and planning
  • Proactively identify and execute improvements to increase event efficiency and effectiveness of internal attendees at the event for pipeline generation.
  • Build a library of best practices based on pre-event operations to refine future events and enable the scaling of our event processes and team.

Salary & Equity

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $90,000 and $100,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
