About the Business Operations Team

We are seeking a versatile and action-oriented Business Operations Associate to join our growing team. While data is at the core of what we do, this role goes beyond just reporting on what happened—you will focus on making things happen.

You will act as the connective tissue between our various teams. Your mission is to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, using data to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and drive high-priority initiatives. If you love solving ambiguous problems, building scalable systems, and turning insights into operational reality, this is the role for you.

  • Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and design scalable processes
  • Define and track company-wide OKRs and departmental KPIs
  • Investigate the "why" behind the numbers and proactively flag risks to leadership
  • Partner with the Data Analyst to ensure teams have access to the right data
  • Translate complex data sets into executive-level presentations and memos that drive decision-making

Who You Are

  • You have 2-5 years of experience in Business Operations, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or a Strategy/Analytics role at a high-growth tech company
  • You have advanced Spreadsheet Modeling: Top 1% of Excel/Google Sheets users (models are clean and auditable)
  • Proficiency building visualization clarity through decks (PowerPoint/Google Slides) and familiar with BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau)
  • Structured Problem Solver able to break down messy, open-ended problems
  • You verify the numbers and know how to extract insights to support arguments
  • You excel at synthesizing complex information into crisp, clear, concise, and compelling narratives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fintech, banking, or high-growth startup environment
  • Able to write intermediate SQL queries (e.g., in Snowflake) to pull your own data
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Exposure to modern data stack tools (dbt, Fivetran)

Compensation

$110,000 - $130,000
