We have raised nearly $400$M in funding, including the largest Series A in fintech history, and recently closed our Series B to fuel our next stage of hypergrowth.

About the Product Team

We’re looking for a driven, collaborative, high-impact Senior Product Manager to lead one of the most critical squads at Rain: Payroll. This team sits at the heart of our business - responsible for ensuring that employee wage advances are successfully and accurately adjusted from their next paychecks.

In this role, you’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our payroll infrastructure. You’ll own the systems that communicate with external payroll providers, build new integrations, and continuously improve and scale how we send, track, and confirm payroll adjustments.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Product. And you’ll be the kind of teammate that others seek out - an expert in your area and ready to roll up your sleeves. This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, cares deeply about getting the details right, and wants to make an outsized impact on the future of Rain.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product roadmap, vision, and strategy for the Payroll Squad, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional execution in partnership with Engineering, Implementation, Sales, and Operations.
  • Drive continuous improvements to our payroll infrastructure - a cornerstone of Rain’s product and revenue model.
  • Build and improve integrations with external payroll systems, ensuring we are accurate, timely, and scalable.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly and communicate clearly—keeping stakeholders aligned and focused.
  • Contribute to the growth of our product organization by improving our processes, practices, and team culture.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products.
  • Strong technical fluency - you are comfortable working closely with engineers and thinking through system architecture, data flow, and edge cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a bias for action—able to prioritize, make tradeoffs, and execute at speed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the HR tech, payroll, fintech, or Earned Wage Access space.
  • Background in systems involving employee data, timekeeping, or financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with client implementation workflows and enterprise integrations.

Compensation

$175,000 - $190,000 + equity

Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
