Rain Instant Pay is seeking a Director of Large Enterprise Sales to lead and develop a strategic team of Account Executives. This pivotal role involves providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure consistent exceptional results. The Director will be responsible for hiring, motivating, and coaching the team, optimizing sales processes, and collaborating with marketing and RevOps on lead generation strategies. Key duties include data analysis for performance improvement, reporting on pipeline targets, and activating partnerships. The ideal candidate will have over four years of leadership experience in HR Tech or FinTech sales, strong B2B sales expertise, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
Must Have
- Hire, lead, motivate, and galvanize a team of Large Enterprise Account Executives.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to Account Executives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and workflows.
- Collaborate on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify performance trends.
- Report on key metrics related to qualified pipeline targets.
- Coordinate with Partnerships Team to drive sales leads.
- 4+ years of leadership experience managing an AE team in HR Tech or FinTech.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and lead generation.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales professionals.
- Proficiency in data analysis for strategy and decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

We’ve raised nearly $400M in funding—including the largest Series A in fintech history—and just closed our Series B to fuel our next stage of hypergrowth.
At Rain, the sales team is the engine that drives the earned wage access into the marketplace. We’re seeking a Sales Manager to lead a strategic group of Account Executives.
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our Account Executive team. You will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to your team members, ensuring they consistently deliver exceptional results. Your strategic thinking, coaching skills, and ability to optimize workflows will be key to achieving Rain's ambitious goals. This role reports to the VP of Sales.
What you’ll do
- Leadership and Team Development: Hire, lead, motivate, and galvanize a team of Large Enterprise Account Executives, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Create a framework for career progression and support the development of your team.
- Coaching and Training: Provide ongoing coaching and training to our Large Enterprise Account Executives to enhance their skills managing pipeline, demoing the product, and closing deals.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and results. Collaborate with the rest of the sales leadership to define key initiatives to drive results.
- Lead Generation Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Enablement and RevOps teams to develop effective lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the AE performance.
- Reporting: Report upon key metrics related to qualified pipeline targets.
- Activating Partnerships: Coordinate with our Partnerships Team to drive sales leads and opportunities.
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in a leadership role, front line managing an Account Executive team in HR Tech or FinTech.
- Sales and Prospecting Expertise: Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, prospecting techniques, and lead generation strategies.
- Coaching and Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals to achieve their full potential.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use insights to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Results-Driven: A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting to changes as needed.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation
$350,000 - $400,000 (OTE) Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
