Job Summary
PwC Poland's Indirect Tax team, comprising over 100 experts in VAT, customs, excise, and environmental taxes, is seeking a Senior Consultant. This role involves preparing tax advice, analyzing regulations, formulating recommendations, supervising projects, and developing junior team members. The position requires 3-4 years of experience in tax consulting, particularly in VAT, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Polish and English.
Must Have
- Prepare draft letters, advice, and other correspondence
- Analyze regulations, interpretations, and case law to assess tax and regulatory implications
- Formulate tax recommendations for clients
- Provide substantive supervision of projects and ensure project economics
- Develop less experienced team members
- Direct cooperation with clients from Poland and abroad
- 3-4 years of experience in tax consulting/tax department, especially in VAT
- Ability to identify problems and actively seek solutions
- Very good knowledge of Polish and English (min. B2)
- Higher education
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, teamwork, and effective communication

The Indirect Tax team at PwC Poland consists of over 100 experienced experts in value-added tax, customs, excise, and environmental taxes. We implement projects related to, among others, commodity trading, e-invoice implementation, real estate transactions, ESG, and structuring local government investments. We work with domestic and foreign clients, providing services from 6 PwC offices in Poland (Warsaw, Wrocław, Krakow, Katowice, Poznań, and Gdańsk).
We are looking for:

Your future role:
- preparing draft letters, advice, and other correspondence,
- analyzing regulations, interpretations, and case law to assess the tax and regulatory implications of specific transactions,
- formulating tax recommendations for clients,
- substantive supervision of projects and ensuring project economics,
- developing less experienced team members,
- direct cooperation with clients from Poland and abroad.
Apply if:
- you have 3-4 years of experience in tax consulting/tax department, especially in VAT,
- you can identify problems and actively seek solutions,
- you have very good knowledge of Polish and English (min. B2),
- you have higher education,
- you have very well-developed interpersonal skills, can work in a team, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
