Job Summary
PwC's Internal Firm Services department in Katowice and Opole provides accounting, HR, payroll, risk management, and graphic editing services to PwC network companies and global clients. The role involves accounting documents, fixed assets, payrolls, bank statements, confirming balances, month/year-end closing, tax obligations (CIT/VAT), preparing reports, and client support. The team fosters innovation through automation and standardization projects in an international environment.
Must Have
- Accounting of documents and maintaining registers for tax, customs, and accounting purposes
- Accounting for fixed asset turnover, depreciation, accruals, payrolls, bank statements
- Confirming balances of receivables and payables
- Co-participation in the month/year-end closing process
- Participation in fulfilling tax obligations resulting from CIT and VAT regulations
- Preparing accounting reports and statements
- Ongoing contact and client support
- Very good knowledge of German language
- Relevant education (finance and accounting, taxes, economics) or experience in a similar position
- Practical knowledge of MS Office package
- Good work organization and independence in performing duties
- Analytical thinking skills and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities
Good to Have
- Knowledge of English
- Knowledge of SAP, Datev or any financial and accounting software

The Internal Firm Services department has been operating in our offices in Katowice and Opole since 2016. Our teams provide services to PwC network companies and clients from all over the world. We specialize in accounting, HR and payroll processes, risk management, and graphic editing. We work in an international environment, connecting daily with clients from many countries. We support a culture of innovation, engaging in automation and standardization projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Accounting of documents and maintaining registers for tax, customs, and accounting purposes,
- Accounting for fixed asset turnover, depreciation, accruals, payrolls, bank statements,
- Confirming balances of receivables and payables,
- Co-participation in the month/year-end closing process,
- Participation in fulfilling tax obligations resulting from CIT and VAT regulations,
- Preparing accounting reports and statements,
- Ongoing contact and client support.
Our requirements:
- Very good knowledge of German language,
- Knowledge of English will be an additional asset,
- Knowledge of SAP, Datev or any financial and accounting software will be an additional asset,
- Relevant education (finance and accounting, taxes, economics) or experience in a similar position,
